Ubiquiti Networks Cloud Key Gen2 - UCK-G2-SSD

I’ve been using this for about 3 months in my home network in the Dominican Republic, and it has exceeded all my expectations. I bought it because I needed a way to control the Wi-Fi extenders in my home through an app, and this has made that very easy.I had it installed, and right away I was impressed with how simple it was to use. The setup appeared to be pretty straightforward, especially if you already understand your own network. Once it was connected, it immediately synced with all of my UniFi equipment without giving me any issues.At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but after using it, I feel like it was worth the price. It feels very well built, which is what I would expect from this type of product.I would recommend this to anyone who wants better control over their home network, especially if they already use UniFi equipment and want to manage things from an app.Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.

Makes setting up unifi APs easy as pie.

Works flawlessly for the Protect feature, although as a first-time Ubiquiti user I was a bit disappointed in some parts of the admin setup: they were less than intuitive. Someone at UI needs to re-think how they manage the network configuration, too: it doesn't make any sense on being able to change settings on the "default" network or not.Would like to be able to expand beyond a 4TB drive. Looks like there might be an expansion port but havent explored that yet.

Set a few of these up just in the last couple months, great for small business / home use

Had to replace an ancient Cloud Key with this. So much nicer!Great radio management and fast.I hope this lasts as long as the Edgerouter-4 I use it with.

Great product and fortunately very well packaged by the manufacture, but for whatever reason I can get socks delivered in an actual box, but this item doesn't have the option to ship in another package, so it will come all beat up. Mine worked fine but this is an item I plan to use for years and now I'll always wonder about the footprint on the package and the corners all beat in. The UI store will put it in a box for you. I suggest this is one of those things that's worth paying shipping for so that it will show up properly and still professional looking.

Great product but redundant if you you buy almost any networking device from Ubiquiti so keep that in mind before you purchase this product. Otherwise an excellent little piece of tech.

I was not sure I wanted the Unifi controller for my personal network, but I am glad that bought it. It makes managing and optimization easy.
