It's a hen...
It's hard to know what to really write for a review of this... other than it's a hen ornament. I think you can use it for storing eggs, or whatever would fit I guess... Truth be told, this wasn't something I bought for me personally, and instead I was asked to buy it on behalf of my aunt so she would probably do a better job writing about it than I'm currently doing. It seemed like it was good quality and arrived safely packaged. Apparently these have a decent collectable value, but I'm afraid seeing as I work at a charity shop, this is only really something I'd expect to put on the shelves rather than something I'm much good writing about. But if this is something you're after, then go for it - there were no problems with it as far as I could see.

Poorly packaged
The ceramic chicken is lovely but sadly arrived broken. The packaging was totally inadequate. I ordered a replacement, but that too arrived broken. The base and top need to be wrapped separately or damage is inevitable. The chicken is available from Next and arrives well packaged and complete.

Love this! The hen looks so good in our kitchen and has such character! I have placed a dozen large eggs inside the nest so far, without difficulty, and feel it would be quite possible to add to these... I am never disappointed with Mason Cash products; the quality is always excellent

very pretty
Always wanted a hen nest to put my eggs in so my hubby surprised me with this beautiful hen for xmas. Very well made and really pretty. I have called her Jessica, very sturdy and hold about dozen medium eggs or 10 large eggs, the family have all commented on how lovely she looks.
