Pull the trigger on this - I did and have no regrets
I love this little thing. It makes picking up my guitar and practicing so hassle free. And for such a small device, it has some pretty cool tonal capabilities. If you download the related app to your phone, you have a very intuitive and easy user interface to makw edits to and then save your presets. There's even an on line forum where people upload their presets so you can download them and use them. The device has blue tooth receiver capabilities as well - you can pair it with your phone and play along with your favorite bands. It also has a tuner built into it, which is convenient. I've owned this thing for about 5 months now. It has not given me any issues. This is one of the best guitar related purchases that I've made. Ever. Pull the trigger on this - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great sounding practice and gear learning tool.
Useable sounds, some configuration sound awesome. Fun to jam with Youtube lessons or any portable music player via Bluetooth. Quite good sounding device for the price. Downside is can't connect app through Android. Apple app works though. It provides 8 Fender amps, 2 Marshall, Vox, Peavey, Orange, Hi Watt, Friedman some boutique amps and some Metal amps. Amp simulation is not bad, however personally owning a 65 Deluxe Reverb and a 65 Princeton Reverb they did not work hard to make these classic amps shine. Tone wise this device is remarkable, especially high gain setups, however breakup/crunch is always VERY difficult to repro with digital equations, the main reason I'm not a big fan of digital processing in my electric guitar / bass signal path. Big fan of digital processing on acoustic guitar and vocal signal though. High gain amps are well reproduced, as well as some of the tweeds are very exciting, but the black faces could use a bit of polishing. The Bass Brakers are awesome but they're no longer available. What I prefer about these simulators is that I can discover both classic amps and effects. I discovered great Bass Guitar Amps and Effects a long time ago with a multi effect and I went and got the real amps and pedals. While playing with the Marshall models. I stumbled on Friedman amp (FBE-100) which I found the most exciting sounding amp of all the model collection. So I started looking closely at Friedman gear... Cool gadget, fun and convenient to practice with, sounds great but will stick with the real tube amps for sound though. I don't imagine myself ever recording with this.

I adore this, a must have item for any guitar/bass player
The Fender Mustang Micro Plus is one of the best things I’ve ever bought!! I live in a very small house where every sound is heard in every room. So playing guitar with an amp, or even an acoustic guitar is a disruption to everyone. Setting up amps and pedals just to practice with headphones is a PITA and that’s where the Mustang comes in. It’s so small and easy to use it makes practicing anywhere easy and convenient. What’s even better I’d that The preset effects are great and make playing so much more fun. I also really love the ability to connect to Bluetooth so that I can play along with songs from Spotify, YouTube or Songstrr. My son and I use it for both bass and guitar and it works great for either. Volume control is nice and convenient and so far it seems very durable. I hope to have and use it for years to come. Obviously the battery isn’t easily replaceable, so I’m hoping that lasts for a long time.

So happy!
The Fender Mustang Micro Plus is a game-changer! Incredible amp and effect tones, Bluetooth streaming, and instant play-along capability make practice irresistible. Battery lasts for ages, and the built-in tuner is so handy. For silent, studio-quality jamming anytime, anywhere, this tiny powerhouse is absolutely perfect. Couldn’t be happier!

A economical, satisfying way to enhance your music
I love the Fender Mustang Micro Plus. All the functions of tone pedals and amplifiers without the cost. Their are fifty pre-programmed settings with room to add custom settings. All amplifiers and pedals are adjustable. The durability is top grade. I use it with four guitars and the different tones are mostly produced with clarity and definition. My only complaint is that on some pickup and/or tone settings, feedback occurs.

Most impressive device I've had in a long time
I am overwhelmed and how wonderful this device is. The preset sounds are extraordinary and they are just too many to choose from. It's an incredible device for practice with clean or distorted or affect results. This is what you need when you want optimum sound but don't wanna disturb other people. Plugs right into the guitar and it's just magnificent.

My least favorite headphone amp
I own various headphone amps, including the Blackstar Beam Solo, Tonex Plug, NUX Mighty plug Pro 3 and Sonicake Pocket Master. But the Fender is my least favorite of all of these compact practice devices. The Blackstar and Tonex sound by FAR the very best! And with the Blackstar Beam Solo being able to use NAM A2 profiles and having direct access to the TONE3000 library, it has become my absolute favorite. The PROS: - smaller size than some of the other headphone amps. The Tonex is slightly smaller though and the Blackstar the biggest. - has a small display screen that is lacking on the other headphones amps - the volume dial is very practical and feels also very nice and sturdy - 100 presets can be saved on the device itself, which is a lot more than on the competitors - if you like clean Fender tones, than this one might be for you. But the high gain and distortion models sound very lackluster imo. The CONS: - the amp/cab models don’t sound as good as the competitors’ models or amp/cab profiles. - the factory and the downloadable presets from the community aren’t that great. And even when tweaking a lot and trying to get the best sound out of it, it still sounds mediocre at best. - you’re stuck with the factory amp and cab models and can’t extend your library with additional amp/cab profiles like you can with Blackstar (NAM A2 full rig), Tonex, NUX (IR), PocketMaster (NAM A1 full rig/ IR). - limited amount of effects, and also not very good sounding effects, and almost all are mono. - the Fender 2 channel OTG USB audio interface is not as good as the Blackstar, which offers a 4 channel ultra low latency interface. The additional channel 3 on the Blackstar Beam Solo is a seperate DI signal for external processing and channel 4 is for a mic. Fender only offers 2 channel processed audio. - app isn’t nearly as good as the Blackstar, Tonex or Spark apps. Even the NUX and PocketMaster apps have better features. - the Fender Mustang Micro Plus is also the only device in my entire collection that mutes it’s audio after about 10 minutes of playing with one of my active-pickup guitars. I will have to unplug, turn off and on to get the audio back. None of the other devices show that issue with my active-pickup guitar…. very strange!

Amazing piece of kit as expected from Fender
I love this and knew I would. We live in a digital age now where we don't have to collect many amps and effects for a very high price, just to be able to try some of the classic Fender sounds. Well worth the price, it functions very well, basic but robust enough for me to leave plugged into the guitar while I am not using it. I bought a great pair of headphones to go with it and that has been worth pairing them up, i just want to try it with a Bluetooth amplifier like a Blackstar to be able to test the output with a speaker. I imagine it will be just as amazing as with headphones. With 50 fun and classic presets and 50 extra spaces to make your own using an app on Android for me, using a Samsung tablet I can create different amp and fx combos easily giving great versatility easy enough for anyone to edit create new sounds. Fender is one of the most famous guitar brands synonymous with classic American and UK styles, all easily created and fun to jam with on this. My battery is easily lasting me 5 hours playing and I'm 43 now so don't play that often but still daily and it keeps well charged, while also charging very quickly when needed. I love using it on my Epiphone Sheraton where it has the lead jack on the front of the body of the guitar so it sits like a little computer, fitting perfectly for ease of use and style. It has a few buttons and switches and a dial on the front with a small screen, its been made to use with ease straight from the box. I can recommend this to anyone but it's perfect for me to save money on electric bills for amps when at home and using headphones, while it is also great for travelling, you can even walk around town with headphones on if you want. I want to try the Vox ones and Marshall bit I am pleased I started with Fender as I could never afford Fender amps above the other amps I chose over the years so this has been great to fill that gap.

Worth every cent!
Fantastic product, the app is diverse and intuitive to use and has a wide variety of default presets to choose from. The device's built in tuner is accurate and very useful. The ability to play alongside your favorite songs with the bluetooth backtrack feature. The compatibility with any normal headphone jack is also a nice to have. You can connect this device to your ipad, phone, macbook etc. Its very portable and light and easy to put in your gig bag.
