The Octonauts: Underwater Adventures Box Set

My kids are obsessed with these books, want to hear one or more of them every night! So colorful and creative. They like them as much or more as watching the show. I've got 2 1/2 year-old twins and a 6 year-old, and they all three gather around for these. The stories do run a bit longer than what I'd expect, but I think that's part of the appeal. These books definitely hold their interest in a way things of comparable length often have not. A lovely set. Most of the books we've bought or received that are connected to shows are by comparison so banal, stereotypical, and frankly lame, my eyes cross reciting them, and I wonder if I'm doing my kids any favors by reading that kind of junk to them. But these are totally different. Engaging, delightful, smart, excellent fun! I hesitated over the price tag, but am so glad I bought them. Highly recommend!!!!

The box itself is a well made case for the books! It comes with a poster, 2 postcards, and the books. We are so excited to give this to our kid for Christmas… even though we also read the books upon opening :)

This is my favorite show out of the handful that my daughter will watch. I think it is beautifully designed and animated, and on that level I love the books even more. I agree, obviously, that the books are not as in-depth or fact producing as the show, few children’s books ever are. However, they are very well and cleverly written, and the illustrations are stunning. I would highly recommend for any fans of the show, or parents who are looking for books that are visually appealing to display.

My kiddo is obsessed with them. We read the Frown Fish one almost every night now, and it's interesting enough that I don't complain (much). They're genuinely well written and beautiful books, and it's great to see where the Octonauts started. My only complaint is the books are kind of wide, so they barely fit on his teeny bookcase. Would definitely recommend to any parent with a kiddo who's an Octo-nut like mine 😂

This gorgeous box set is so beautifully illustrated with four cute stories included. As others noted, the stories are more fanciful and less educational than the show. My three year old loves the show and also loves these books. She can recite large portions of each story and loves to look for the little details on each page. The set comes with a fold out poster from one of the books. Overall a great purchase for Octonauts fans.

My son loves these books! He is almost 3 years old. It is a great alternative to watching the show or continues the fun. Good quality. 4 books and a poster are included. The stories are pretty long (about 30 pages). Also, we got figurines to complement the books.

Love this book set… my grandsons favourite characters, and he constantly brings them to me to read for him (he’s 3)

娘の誕生日のサプライズプレゼントにしようとケース入りのハードカバーセットを購入。さっき届いて見てみたらシュリンクラップの内側でケース既に破れており、しかも潰れて変形しています。子供の本にしてはとても高価ですし配送以前についた傷をそのまま送りつけてくるとは、検品してるのかな？と不安になります。 即交換手続きしましたが、大丈夫でしょうか。 ↑ (評価は⭐︎1から4に変えます) 交換品はすぐ届きダメージもなく無事交換手続きも終わりました。 交換手続きの説明ページがわかりにくく、ヤマトで返すのに「郵送ラベル」についての説明しかなかったり、画面上で日時指定すれば集荷の手配が自動的にできるのに、自分でヤマト運輸に連絡しなくてはならないかのような説明だったり、腑に落ちない点があったためチャットで尋ねるととても丁寧で親切な対応でした。 以下は内容についてです。 オクトノーツ大好きな子供は大喜びでした。なんとなくどれも似たような話ですが、絵がかわいくて、環境問題など大人も考えさせられるテーマです。 文章は平易ですが、単語が簡単だというわけではなく、生き物の名前などスマホで辞書を引きつつ読み聞かせ指定います。 7180円は高いと思いましたが、1冊15ドル95セントの本4冊入りにおまけポスター付きなので個人輸入などの場合を思うと、むしろ安いのかもという印象です。
