You do not see the flies until you remove them and they are small and sleek looking. -They attract the bugs with light, so I don’t have to just hope that the bugs wander into the trap. -They are chemical free which is important to me with an extremely curious toddler in the house. We also tried home remedies like soapy water and apple cider vinegar to no avail, just a stanky vinegary bathroom, these have no smell and actually work. -They are super easy to install, you just peel the backing off the card, slide it into the unit, plug it in and let it do its thing. -It’s silent, you’re only aware of it because of the light, which my husband didn’t love, but he doesn’t love gnats pelting him in the face more, so we’ll take it. -It is super easy to clean and dispose of, it’s not unruly like regular fly traps. My only complaint is that there is some kind of residue on the plug in itself which smears the printed on label, is a bit sticky and left black fingerprints around(last picture).
