This is an excellent adaptation of the original Madinah series for children which I have taught to adults and my own children. The English notes are an useful addition for parents without Arabic but ideally a teacher is needed to maximise the benefit of this series. The first book goes easy on the grammar, but subsequent parts in the series could overwhelm a young child with the increasingly rapid focus on grammar. I would suggest doing parts 1 & 2 and then using other books to widen acquisition of vocabulary as opposed to working through the series in order.
