Arc'teryx Rho Lightweight Wool Toque | Streamlined Merino Wool Beanies | Thermal Breathable Lightweight Beanie Hat

This is my go-to beanie, skully or whatever you want to call it. I have several of them and love, love, love them. These can be worn in mild to cold climates without getting itchy or sweaty. The material is super soft and lightweight but keeps my bald noggin nice and toasty. I have these in pretty much every color they have made available and will continue to buy them as they come out with new colors. The fit is snug, but I do have a yuge head. The material is very stretchy though, so it fits nicely. Hand wash only is recommended.

I'm bald. I have a lot of hats and beanies. I have beanies of various thickness and material and have been looking for a light weight beanie like this for a while. My brother (also bald) had this one and I found out the brand and bought this. It is exactly what I've been looking for. Very light weight, thin material. Almost like t-shirt material but with more stretch. This hat fits nicely and while it isn't tight on my head it isn't loose like a slouchy. It is great when the weather is cooling off but not cold and you just need a little bit of cover to keep the cold air off your head. I've been really happy with this purchase.

As with all Arc'teryx items, it is great in the cold. However, for just a cap I believe a cheaper brand would certainly do as well.

This hat is so good I bought it twice. I am bald and have no natural warmth on the top of my head. Just skin that radiates my precious body heat outward. This hat keeps my head so warm and was perfect for an East Coast visit. The temperatures were down in the teens and this hat really did the job great. It's comfortable, fits well, I need an extra large, and the color is great.

Very light, very packable, good quality wool toque. Only downside is price and that it's made overseas. Good for wear underneath other headgear.

This is good for wearing under a bike helmet. It is warm for cook temps but below freezing I can definitely feel the wind through the hat under my helmet. It is big enough that I can pull it over my ears and it stays put. Overall, the ideal fit with my helmet means I will pick this beanie over warmer options because it feels safest and offers decent warmth. Definitely a bit pricey for a thin beanie.

Great winter sports cap. Used skinny, backcountry skiing, hiking. Can be a tad on the warm side even though it is very light. Better suited for activity in winter months, gets warm on a sunny spring day. Very comfortable, good fitting hat.

As others have said they made it longer. This used to be perfect now it fits like crap.

Expensive but so light and easy to wear. I have really delicate hair and wearing a hat for extended periods always gives me headaches. If you are looking for a really thin, lightweight and comfortable hat, it’s perfect for you! I like to roll it up if the temperature gets warmer.
