We purchased this watch for my teen in summer camp. I didn't want to get anything expensive, and this had good reviews. My son wears it daily but had a little bit of a hard time figuring out how to use it. He really needed to use the stopwatch feature which works as intended. I don't think it will hold up in water but we didn't purchase it for that reason. If it gets lost, we aren't out a ton of money. Did I mention it looks nice on his wrist? Doesn't look cheap and has all the features he will need.

I bought this watch as a gift for my little nephew, and honestly, it was a total hit. He is absolutely delighted with it, so much that he doesn't want to take it off. He tells me, all excited, that several of his friends at school said they want one just like it, and that makes him even happier. He loves setting alarms, now he sets one to wake up and another for bedtime. He also uses the stopwatch to see how long it takes him to get ready for school, I think it has helped him become more organized, and he has a lot of fun using it.

It's a beautiful watch with multicolored display modes, date/time, alarm, great price, and great features. My 10-year-old daughter loves it. I have grown very skeptical of the "waterproof" claims on non-casio/non-timex watches because they all seem to say "waterproof", when in fact, they are only "water-resistant". My daughter she was safe to swim with hers a couple times and water got inside the watch. Before it could all dry out to be visible/readable again, half the display LEDs stopped working so now she can't read the time anymore.
