Good question! We updated our product description with the following: tDCS and tACS are non-invasive, safe techniques that pass a small electrical current across your scalp. These electrical currents help modulate activity in specific parts of the brain. Positive tDCS currents elevate brain activity, while negative currents lower activity. tACS oscillating currents generate different brain rhythms.

Where do I buy replacement sponges and electrodes

We are working towards getting a trademark so that we can offer accessories on Amazon. Until then, accessories are sold separately on our website.

What kind of replacement sponges work with this unit - and where are they sold?

NeuroMyst Pro comes with two sets of sponges (4x). Replacement sponges (10x) are sold separately on the manufacturer's website.

What is the conductive material that is mixed into the silicone electrode pads that the sponge contacts?

Most tDCS devices use the same material as muscle stimulator pads. The black conductive material is medical-grade conductive carbon rubber.
