Great sound, size, and price! Slight concern with the bass though.
Works and connects perfect right out of the box. Sounds loud and great. Good size as well, making it easy to carry around. My only concern is with the bass. When playing songs with a lot of bass, the speaker seems to slightly clip in and out between the bass sound and the regular audio. It’s very subtle overall though (and not noticeable at all at quieter volumes), and still worth it for the price.

This speaker Exceeded my expectations, and being a SoundCore collector, they were pretty High. I have a lot of bluetooth speakers, including a few from Soundcore, including the MotionBoom Plus and Motion 300. While the Motion 300 is still my all-round favorite for it's sound and portability, this Select 4 Go is much smaller and lighter weight, and holds it's own very well in the sound quality and loudness departments. I highly recommend using the app because, for me, most music sounds better on this speaker with the bass boosted. In fact, this is the first SoundCore speaker, or headphones for that matter, that I actually like the bass boost turned on most of the time. The others tend to sound muddy with it, and suppress the treble too much. Even with the bass boosted, the Select 4 Go keeps nice, crisp highs and warm, clean midrange. I'm hoping that Soundcore adds more EQ options, as they typically have for new offerings in the past, because I think this speaker is capable of more than the current 4 settings are allowing it to do. I only have one of these speakers and have tested it in several environments. I currently use the Motion 300 as my shower speaker and it sounds amazing with it's high fidelity stereo sound, but the Motion 4 Go would serve very well for this, too, and I have to think that a pair of them set up with True Wireless Stereo would probably win me over, if it weren't for the fact that the Motion 400 just fits perfectly in my shower's unused soap holder nook, and turning one speaker on instead of two is just more convenient. That being said, if I didn't already have the Motion 300, I'd probably opt to save a few dollars and get two of these little guys, instead, since two of these cost less than one of the Motion 300's. (Remember, that's my favorite portable speaker I'm talking about) Then again, if I was made of money, I'd just get two of the Motiom 300's and preemptively make an appointment for a hearing aid fitting. I've also used the Select 4 Go in my office at work, which is rather large since it's a control room that accommodates up to 6 technologists at a time and also holds a lot of equipment. Alone, this speaker filled the room with sound better than most of the bluetooth speaker PAIRS that I pitted it against in this scenario. Yes, they were cheaper speaker pairs, but they'd been happily used for the task in the past, and were simply outperfomed by this lone but mighty little guy. Again, I have to think that two would be more than ample for casual or small gathering listening in a medium sized room. I've also compared this with quite a few similarly sized items from other companies like JBL and Bose, and I have to say that, in my opinion, the Soundcore sounds about the same or slightly better than those, but with a much nicer price tag. I've had no problems with connectivity, so far, and setup is a breeze. If you're looking for a small, lightweight, rugged speaker that can actually pump out great sound without breaking your wallet, this is the way to go. I am consider ordering a second one to pair them in stereo, and will update if I do.

Worth it's weight in Gold
My Anker company journey started when i bought a pair of ear buds and was shocked by the quality and sounds i was hearing. I started musical training decades ago and have enough of a trained ear that my ears get hungry for quality sounds. These little speakers fill the bill for portability and quality of sound and safety when outside gardening in the dirt and wet. And the battery life and usb connectivity are both heaven sent! I can work the garden and listen for hours and still take the dogs for that long walk with them on my belt loop. The controls are easy. The app phenomenal and I'm very pleased. My past portable speakers have been slightly larger monster, tribet, sony and jbl. I'm not complaining about any of them. They are not as long lasting in battery life or as portable and have moved to kitchen and bathroom use. Because music should be everywhere! These soundcore 4 win. Love the usb c charge. Love that you can hang them on the fence, on your belt loop, and put them in damp grass. Excellent. Works great with iPhone and Google Pixel phone.

Great low cost speaker!
We love this amazing little Bluetooth speaker. We’ve taken it to the hot tub, paddle boarding to the pool and beach. The battery lasts forever and the bass is surprisingly good! Great buy, thank you!

For the money, you cant really beat it. Sounds good.
I got this for kayak fishing and because its waterproof/resistant. For that purpose its excellent. It had no problem connecting to any phone I tried to connect it to. The volume is loud but not if you're trying to use it for a party or something , you wouldwant something louder. It would be perfect for around the campfire or in the shower. The battery life is great too. I used it from noonish all the way into the evening with no problem. As far as sound, its great, I mean it no jbl but unless you're a complete audiophile you wont notice. There's also an app from anker you can use to adjust the equalizer to whatever you prefer.

Easy to like and decent product.
I use mine in the shower, prior to this I had an older version of the wheeling style from Vincent. Pros: Look is good and colors are nice. Connects to phone supper easy. Sound is good, decent base but not so heavy it is only usable at parties. The sound is rich enough to enjoy, plus the volume is responsive that small incriminates work. Battery life for a shower use is insane. Its heavier than the wheel style so I hang it on the shower ring which works great. Cons: No extra controls, no fwd/bck controls. The controls could be raised or illuminated. Final: I was on the edge of sending it back, after two uses it was a keeper. The lack of fwd/back was missed, but the simplicity seems to work.

Excellent shower/bathroom speaker
I bought this speaker for my fiancee to use in her bathroom. I was looking for a handful of features: 1) small size and fairly light weight, since it would need to either fit on her (crowded 😅) sink countertop or hang from a hook in the shower. This is not the absolute smallest Bluetooth speaker you can get, but it's pretty close so it checked that box. 2) good sound for its size. I wanted something that had more thump and clarity than a phone speaker, otherwise what's the point? Reviews led me to believe this would do the trick, and listening to it now (I may have temporarily commandeered it for the purposes of science, of course) it definitely exceeds my expectations. It won't rattle your chest at this size, but kick drums have a proper thump and bass lines that your phone speaker might not even emit are clearly present here. Another nice feature is that this speaker gets decently loud (definitely as loud as you'd ever need in a bathroom) and the sound quality doesn't fall apart as you hit max volume the way many other speakers, especially smaller speakers, do. You can play this thing at its full volume happily, so it's not effectively capped at 80% the way some other Bluetooth speakers are due to deteriorating sound quality at their top volumes. Bass is modest but present, mids are very smooth, and the treble is not muffled- it's perfectly crisp at all the higher frequencies. About the most one can expect from this size class. 3) good price. There are many speakers around this size that exceed $50 and some that even stretch over $100. I'm not convinced you can do much better than this sound quality without purchasing an outright larger speaker. For ~$25, this is a great value. So it checked my main three boxes, but it also comes with some extra party tricks: it has pretty decent battery life, I've seen tests which suggest it will play >10 hours on a full charge. That's plenty for a bathroom speaker, I think. You can also pair two together for full stereo sound which, based on my listening so far, might actually be more satisfying than you'd think for some pretty small units. Even if you had two that are mostly used on their own in separate bathrooms, it's nice to know you have that option. Additionally, it has an EQ in the soundcore app which both has preset options as well as a fully-customizable EQ option. Fairly uncommon feature for speakers under $30. All in all, I think this is one of the best values you'll find for a Bluetooth speaker of this size/price. As long as you understand this is a great option for personal listening in the shower, bathroom, or a small office and not the best idea for starting a party, I think you'll be satisfied. It is a just a bit larger than you are probably imagining. In my head it was basically the size of a bar of soap, but in real life it's closer to the size of a 12 ounce can. It's a different shape obviously, but I'd say the overall size is very similar. Anywhere you could place a can, you could place this too. One last note: while there isn't a huge difference either way I've found that the best sound quality comes from hanging it by the built-in fabric loop. The sound seems just a little more crisp and clear, probably due to fewer vibrations reverberating into any surface.

Packs a Punch
If you want a long lasting, durable, portable, good sounding and cost effective Bluetooth speaker, this one is a sure fire winner! I cannot speak highly enough of this product. You might expect some compromise for such an affordable speaker but Anker have somehow packed so much into such a small device..it feels really solid when you first pick it up. The connection is fast. The sound, while not overly loud, is clear, rich and without distortion. I picked this up for $21 in a sale which is criminal! It crushed my recent Bose SoundLink micro purchase in terms of satisfaction and value for money.

Best compact speaker I’ve had to date.
My dayzzzz this speaker is AMAZING (considering the size). Sound quality is so clean, clear and crisp. I LOVE base and though this does not give a deep base (expected for its size) there is a level of base that has me still enjoying my music (like I said the music is clean, clear and crisp). I can’t fault it. Got it on prime for £19.99 which is a steal for the quality you get from this compact speaker. It’s super loud, great for holidays, garden, picnic. I’ve enjoyed it whilst in my room doing work and cooking in the kitchen. Super easy to connect to your device. You won’t regret the buy. UPDATE: I didn’t read you can adjust the sound through the app. This has only just got better now that I’ve done this. I was already looking to buy a second without knowing this as many reviews mention playing from more than one. Worth buying 2 and worth more than what it currently cost. I would give it more stars if I could. I’ve used Sony and Bose this is my new fave.

Super recomendado!

Worth the hype - Anker is here to stay, and make some "noise" in the industry.
Guys, the reviews are legit. This little speaker punches way above its weight class for both price point and performance. The battery life is also great. Comparable to a lot of other more expensive speakers in its class, you will get similar quality of sound at often half the price of JBL, Sony, Bose - etc. I was a Bose and Sony man my whole life, but for speakers this small, the minimal difference in sound quality between brands is not worth the cost difference in my opinion. It's very compact, it can fit in a side pocket of some cargo pants, or attached to a bike or backpack easily. You can also download the app and tune the speaker from your phone to your preferences. Its great for filling a large bedroom with sound, and anywhere inside 20 feet when outdoors. Would highly recommend this product. If you can wait for it to go on sale, even better.
