I got these to replace plastic ones when I purchased a used station! They work great!!!

Yes durable and easy to install. I love that I can leave my hot tools on, not worry if I accidentally forgot to turn off. Very protective of any surrounding material from heat.

Good, clean even seams, even polish with only very slight burring at interior of mount punch divots. Actually more like a slight, even ridging than burring, and presents no issues at all, especially given that such are covered with your choice of mount fasteners. Very wide size range across three hangers/holders, sure to readily accommodate nearly any set of equipment. Only very minimal deformation when pressed presents as minor nearly invisible ridging, which tends to attest to proper light lubing when pressed and formed, resulting in a more even, robust and constant product. It actually reminds me of well lubed ammunition brass when properly sized for reloading - a terrific standard! Aside from slight cosmetic issues it may seem to most that this is not terribly important, but when you are building a product that requires seaming and resizing/pressing, and it by it's very nature requires that it be heated and cooled to extremes of range many, many times over across months and years of usage, what it looks like really means nothing and what it performs like (and moreso how well it stands up to the extremes of expansion and contraction through heating and cooling to extremes) means a whole lot more. I looked at these quite closely and assessed them for precisely what they were designed for, and they were clearly NOT left wanting! When a product is used to at most prevent and at the very least mitigate the chance for a fire related to a device that holds extremely hot "tools" many hours per day, there's no way you can look at it "too closely". I can and do heartily recommend these items!!

These are an essential item for preventing fires. They separate your hot tools from flammable surfaces. They work well, just be aware that this is an accessory and not a standalone product. You either need an existing styling station to drop these in (and they fit right in the one I own), or you need to build something to hold them
