Will this part work on wt1101cw

Not sure, but what I did was take my part off and compared it to parts I was looking at . Chances are good that if it matches the existing part it should work. Cheaper than a repairman and not hard to do yourself

Is this LG mfr part or a generic replacement?

This part came from an six month old LG machine that was scrapped. The machines Motor that operates the drum was bad and cost too much to replace.
