Be sure that you have a 2.4 ghz enabled router, as this unit will not work on a 5 ghz-only wifi system. The sprinkler repair tech recommended the Rain Bird over the other brands. I found this at a crazy low price here compared to local places. I installed the unit myself to save some cost. I had installed my previous controller so it went fairly smooth. So far the device has worked flawlessly. The app is very straightforward and was very comparable to the older controller app. This unit did not have a display, only buttons and indicator lights, but the app interface is great. Haven’t really had chance to have any weather delays since Florida is in the dry season.
