Good polished outer leather. As for the inside, the description states "Inner Material: Without inner material" but as can be seen from the photo, the insole is leather (stitched in) and the heal and arch are cushioned - a lovely feel when walking in them.The sole is thick rubber so can be worn indoors or outdoors. Around the heal has a slight lip which prevents the slipper from coming off the feet when walking quickly. In summary, high quality slippers and worth every penny (£40). The delivery was quick (2 days) and the delivery company sent me an SMS in the morning giving me a one-hour delivery window when the package would be delivered.
