Some disks had trouble reading, but that may have been a symptom of age and condition. **Q: does it work on windows 10? i just trying to install driver cd-rom that comes with it but doesn't run** A: If you are having trouble getting the USB external diskette drive to be recognized in Windows 10, then try plugging it into the USB port before booting up the computer. That worked for me. I was able to access the data on many diskettes and modify files, too. If you still don't see it in Win10, then it might be required to create a shortcut on the desktop for the external diskette drive. I was unable to just plug the drive in while Win10 was already running. PnP compatible?
