I decided to dabble in AL and picked up an open box for a good price and it arrived almost looking brand new with all accessories. Installation was straight forward and easy and the Strix is a good trade off of features and a robust build. Unless you're pushing really high OC, the VRM design is more than enough. I had also picked up an open box 265k elsewhere which was a poor sample that only would go to ~8400 on memory no matter what on G2. I picked up another that was much better. Testing on the Asus ROG STRIX Z890 (RS), the RS was able to comfortably hit 9066 on G4 and pass TM5, WMD, OCCT which is what it is rated so that was good. On G2 (CPU dependent), I was able to hit 8933 1.4/1.35 passing the same tests on a set of Crucial Vengeance 9200 sticks but a 140mm fan was needed to keep temps in check on the memory sticks themselves. Performance wise, the board has excellent stability with good performance. Asus is known for having one of the better BIOS with frequent releases, so compatibility is always there. I picked up a 270k eventually and a quick flash, CPU swap and I was up and running ASAP. Ironically, I picked up the APEX version open box of this board after the Strix expecting more, but the one I received couldn't do more than 8600 on memory so I returned it and kept the Strix.

Built my PC from scratch with the ASUS ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI, and this motherboard is incredible! Solid build quality, sleek design, and packed with features that make assembly a breeze. The BIOS is intuitive, overclocking is easy, and the built-in WiFi is fast and reliable. Multiple M.2 slots, reinforced PCIe lanes, and all the ports you could need make it perfect for future upgrades. Performance is flawless—gaming, streaming, or heavy workloads, it handles everything without breaking a sweat. Thermals stay low even under load. If you want a high-end Intel build that looks amazing and runs like a beast, this motherboard is worth every penny.

Buy the open box options. Great Deal for 170 dollars. Do your research and find the solution to the drivers. Incredible value from the best brand since I started using it back in 2007 with a rampage gene 3 or something like that running an overpriced 980x CPU. Asus is the best. They Go all out for us to have amazing products. Prices reflect the premium brand and reliability. I wish they were a little better but if you want the best, Asus is on top of the mountain.

Piece of expensive garbage

Reliable, high performance motherboard as expected from Asus. At first, I was weary of making the upgrade from my 13900k and Asus ROG Maximus hero dark, due to everything I've read saying there's little or no gain (and sometimes decrease) in gaming performance from the core 9 ultra 285k. But since I decided to go with an all white theme for my gaming room, the Mobo was the last piece of the puzzle. Made the switch and I'm extremely happy. Aesthetically, Asus hit it out of the park with the all white PCB. Amazing attention to detail. AI features are plentiful, even if you can't find a use for them. Personally, I feel ai has been shoehorned into every aspect of computing just to justify all the money and r&d spent. Crazy that my 4 year old CPU outperforms this 600+ dollar unit. Tl;Dr Looks very good - aesthetics10\10 General performance - 10\10 Power efficiency & temps - 6.5\10 Gaming performance - 7.7\10 Great construction, great use of Intels lackluster upgrades. Runs hot with ai oc enabled. Vrm should have dedicated fan and better heat sink

This motherboard was on a good sale when I bought it, and the price to performance does not disappoint. It has more than enough ports that I need and the best audio implementation on any motherboard in this price range. I also am really liking the whole white aesthetic of this motherboard as well!

Rock solid, as I've experienced from numerous other ASUS mobos. No issues posting with fast, large quantity ram, no issues updating bios often, lots of configuration settings, looks great in the case. I tried to stray recently with MSI and Asrock, and hated both of those.

This motherboard had everything I technically needed for my PC build. I was not terribly keen on building a white PC, but the sale prices for this and the white case I bought were a no-brainer. It is rather good-looking if you don't need your PC to look all sinister.
