Justifiably heavy
Pleased with the feel, and the bright colour shows the lock is clearly present. Key input feels a little more fiddly than expected, hopefully rain water won't affect the key hole, time will tell.

Gives good security
I think it will take an angle grinder to break this lock so should be safe from opportunist thieves. Combine security by registering with bike register and an etching security code and pros probably will leave alone as well.

Deficient - snapped key
I purchased this product 2 months ago. This morning the key snapped inside the lock and now my bike is stranded. I can’t believe the key was that deficient. I’d like to speak with a customer representative to arrange a refund.

solid, good quality chain
It's thick, solid, and high quality, the lock works very well. No complaints. Of course it weights quite a lot, but that's unavoidable.

Excellent Lock!
Watching video reviews where the reviewer spends 5 minutes grinding a link of this chain, with an angle grinder, with the link held by a vice, I'm convinced the 7MM links here offer plenty of security. Keep in mind, after 5 minutes of loud grinding, the reviewer only went through one side of the link. Now they have to do another 5 minutes of grinding to get the other side of the link. And most bike thieves don't carry a vice with them. This chain is more than an opportunists bike thief can handle. This lock has been easy to carry, in a backpack or a basket (I'm on an e-bike). I secure the suspension seat post with a standard seat post clamp and a Penta Pin bolt from BicycleBolts.com. Excellent combination. Highly recommend both.
