Review: Excellent receiver. - I spent quite a while researching twin tuner satellite receivers and after a lot of deliberation I decided to buy this receiver. So far I am very pleased with it. I have reflashed it with Open ATV and a Wooshbuild Sky skin and it works brilliantly. Very easy to reflash, very fast at updating EPG and the picture quality is excellent in 4k. I also love the fact that it has 8 demodulators so as long as you have a twin lnb feed it can record up to 8 channels at once. No worries about program clashes.
Review: No UK Plug - Came with European 2 pin lead. Needed to get an IEC C7 UK Mains Plug to Figure 8 lead. Unit worked out of the box with no problem. Once it was set up, I then installed OpenViX (an Enigma 2 Firmware) There is a steep learning curve to get the most out of OpenVix and the VU+ box. Lots & lots of menus and choices. But I am very satisfied with it.

**Q: How much memory  Ram does this box have plz**
A: Mine says 
Main Memory: 724840 kB total

**Q: Does this have blind scan capabilities ?**
A: This is a rather technical box. There is no blind scan out of the box. It needs a plugin written by the community. The current version does not seem to work.

**Q: what is the capacity of the hard drive**
A: I haven't put a hard drive in, it was not sent with a hard drive. I need to know how to set this box up. What do I need to do to get it up and running? I have been asking the same question time and time again but not one is willing to help me. The box is sat there not doing anything ? I didn't even know I needed to buy a hard drive to get it started? 
Do you have a guide?  apart from the hard drive, what else do I need to buy to set this box up?

**Q: Do you have uk power plug for vu ?**
A: As this unit comes from Germany it is shipped with an European 2 pin mains lead which is not suitable for the UK. I had a spare UK mains lead. They are cheap to buy or you can cut off the Euro connector and fit a standard UK 13 amp plug

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far better than the rest

I have always been so happy to have a VU+. It works so well, and I have had no problems so far. I have used other STBs but this is the best so far as it is so easy to flash or update. NO fidgeting with power and reset buttons like the Zgemmas. This is more and far better box.
