do they test the product on animals?

Hi, Thanks for your interest. Golden Rose complies with EU laws, which bans Testing on Animals.

how do you know the expiration date on mascara? I'm so tired of buying "new" mascaras that are dry and old first opened.

Hi, KBThe expiration date for mascara is 3-6 months after the date you open the item. There is no expiration as far as unopened, unused shelf life on this mascara. All of our mascaras are sealed with plastic to ensure that they have not been opened or tampered with prior to purchase. We hope this helps answer your question! The Ocean Marketing Team

What are the ingredients?

Here is the ingredient list:aqua, CI 77007, cera alba, stearic acid, acacia senegal gum, glyceryl stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, propylene glycol, tromethamine, HDI/trimethylol hexyllactone crosspolymer, copernicia cerifera cera, euphorbia cerifera cera, polysorbate 20, PVP, VP/hexadecene copolymer, phenoxyethanol, polymethyl methacrylate, CI 77891, xanthan gum, allantoin, panthenol, ethylhexylglycerin, disteardimonium hectorite, bisabolol, disodium EDTA, propylene carbonate, pantolactone.

Is this product cruelty free? Do they sell in China?

Always check the PETA website. I can’t find Golden Rose or GR Cosmetics listed on the PETA site. They may go under a different name? And as a previous commenter answered, if they sell in China they ARE NOT cruelty free.

So beautiful!

I really can't believe how lovely this mascara is! I have brown lashes and this blue mascara shows up and looks great on me, AND it doesn't at all look ridiculous or like I just walked out of the 80s! Instead, I'm a 40yr old mother and it looks flattering and unique. I get tired of the dark look of black and brown mascara and blue really looks refreshing and is lovely in the summer. This product is smooth, light, isn't thick or heavy, is full of moisture, and doesn't blead/run. I'm very, very pleasantly surprised and I highly recommend it.
