Magnificent Madeira, my dear!
It does what it says on the bottle - Blandy's Duke of Clarence Rich Madeira wine is a real high-end beauty, deserving as a special treat for Christmas and New Year celebrations, well, at any time of year really! Sublime, subtle, stupendous flavours to savour, in front of a crackling log fire on a cold winter's night. Cheers!

Delicious for cooking
We bought this wine to make gravy and the difference was massive. The taste the wine added to the Gravy was delicious. I tried by itself to taste the quality and although you can find better quality madeira wine, the taste is subtle and easy t the palate. The price quality relation is good for cooking. Totally recommended for an affordable wine that will add the madeira taste you're looking for

Nice!
One sip and you're instantly on a sun-soaked Portuguese island, but without the airfare! Well not quite but it tastes okay and mainly bought to make some quality gravy.

Christmas in a bottle!
Delicious! If you like a sweet desert wine, a cheeky sherry, or a rich port then you will love this. It really is the taste of Christmas for me. Don’t know why I don’t drink it at other times but perhaps it is so that I can keep something special for the festive season. You won’t be disappointed with this!

My go-to port
We first discovered this at a market in Madeira where they had samples and we fell in love. Although it's much cheaper to buy there of course, we were really happy to find we could buy it here when we got home! Really tasty and sweet tawny.

Cheesecake Factory Madeira Chicken recipe and Mushrooms
My 2 favourite Cheesecake Factory dishes, Madeira chicken and stuffed mushrooms ( try the mushrooms!) needs madeira wine. I have found it tricky to find it in supermarkets and the Amazon has it. The only issue is you need to be home to receive it as it is alcohol. I missed them a couple of times but they keep coming back! They are awesome dishes and made better by madeira wine. Try them.
