With the wand I can reach 10 ft high and the spray is another 3 ft so I can reach places I couldn't reach with the hand held sprayers. Having the sprayer on your back is much easier than carrying around a tank and having to stop to pump 12 or 15 times to keep good pressure. I thought I would use more chemical due to the excellent spray coverage but I was pleasantly surprised that I used less chemical than before. I was able to spray about 1000 ft of pasture edge with the 11 gallons of spray. We have serious problems with Chinese bittersweet, grapevine and privet so I use Crossbow in the sprayer. Clean up was easy, the filter on the wand is easy to get to, the nozzle is easy to remove. The one thing I can't use it for is walking thru brush to get to invasive plants that are well hidden but I knew that before I bought this sprayer. With a tank full of spray on your back it is hard to maneuver in close quarters. If you are looking for a good sprayer, at a fair price that does the job intended then look no further than this sprayer. It is well worth the investment.
