DIY Vise - Fun & Functional
I really like the look and feel of this vise. Also made for a nice little project for a beginner woodworker. Installation was a bit tricky, but likely due to me being a bit of a novice. The parts are high quality and I foresee them lasting a lifetime with proper care. Can't beat that for the price. Very satisfied.

One exception
Would’ve given it 5 stars if the nuts were square. Other than that it worked. Had to buy square nuts separately. My fault for not paying attention to the pics

Great vise kit. Get yourself one.
This is a great vise kit. I built mine from 2x6 Douglas Fir and it has been great in my workshop. This kit is very well built and works great. I like the butterfly style handles and the large screw threads are fast and smooth.

Handles not as pictured in listing
The handles have been changed from 2 spoke to a 1 spoke. Will work, but won’t spin like if it had 2 spokes. Would have been nice to know as I probably wouldn’t have purchased.

The threaded rods are so rough that they will not function without quite a bit of sanding. Buy other kit.
