I thought I was ordering Kinetic sand that is a specific consistency, stays together well, and can be made into various things without falling apart. Unfortunately, this sand is a poor substitute for the original (which I found later at a local store). I'm not sure what to do with the 10 bags I received but cannot let my grandson play with it in the house as it is too messy.

As it should be....Works as expected. But don't think it's like Play-doh.  It is NOTHING like that. It is sand that kind of holds together. But it's loose sand inside the shape. So don't apply too much pressure or it crumbles like sand would normally do.Get real -- to those folks who think they bought Play-doh sand. This does what it's supposed to do!

I bought this as an addition to the sand I gave my autistic grandson last year. He loves the stuff. They use it in his sensory training. He thinks its fabulous. Squashes it into the dinosaur plastic cutters and makes dinos everywhere. It doesn't spread all over, it cleans easily, it stores well, colors are bright and don't come off on kids hands. Its safe if accidently ingested. Win win! Good product. Hours of fun!
