I did not want to buy a new vacuum, so we purchased this item to repair the one we have. It was easy to install and it completely fixed the unit! We were thrilled.

Perfect fit replacement part on Dyson UP20 Ball Animal 2. My internal hose had developed holes and had to be replaced. This required removing both sides of the ball and about 8 screws to reach the hose and some finagling. But my vacuum works like new!Extending the life of my $400 vacuum for about $16 is of great value to me! Not easy but not too difficult. Took about an hour.

This replacement part fit my Dyson perfectly. It was easy to install with help from a YouTube video. Very economical way to refurbish my vacuum. The part is high quality and just as nice as the original part it is replacing.

Not made very well. With great difficulty, I was able to get the vacuum apart and install this part. I tested it and all seemed to work well. With an hour, the hose became detached from the housing. I disassembled the vacuum again and glued the hose back into the housing. I let it set for 24 hours and the reassembled the vacuum. Same thing happened. The hose came undone from the housing. I set the vacuum out for the trash and bought a new SHARK vacuum.

Item fits perfectly and was not difficult to install. Works great.

The part appears to be similar quality to the OEM and fit perfectly. The repair was a little more difficult than expected, but was easy enough. Seems to be a common failure point and the new part did not appear to have any redesign that would improve reliability, which is the reason for docking a star. Overall the quality and price for the part appears to be a good value.

I installed this Chinaseum non-OEM Internal Hose Replacement into a Dyson UP13 ball. The thing fit perfectly into the vacuum and with zero installation issues beyond usual fiddliness and aggravation one expects when repairing a Dyson vacuum.That said...This IS an aftermarket Chinaseum part, and all that implies. It was ten bucks less expensive than a Genuine Dyson 920682-01 at the time I write this, so I took a chance on it. Vacuum performance is restored for the moment.I'll update this review when the part fails.

Perfect fit for Animal Ball 2!

I ordered this part direct from Dyson and they sent me the wrong part despite giving them my model number several times. When I called to set up a return and exchange, I had to do their job for them and give them the actual part number only to find out it wasn't in stock. So I ordered this, got it in half the time for about the same price as Dyson, now my machine works good as new. Skip the hassles with Dyson and just order here straight out of the gate.
