**Q: I am using these in these as front dash speakers instead of tweeters on a 40w rms amp. what hz bass blocker should i use?**
A: Since this is a full-range speaker, if your amp has a high-pass filter, set it at one octave above 80 hz, which would be 160 hz, then work your way up from there until it sounds right to you, without distortion. You didn't mention if you were using this speaker as part of a component set or not, but if you are, whatever you set your high-pass filter for this speaker, you should set your low-pass filter close to that same value for the matching component speaker, then adjust both points and crossover slopes to the desired sound.

**Q: Whats the wattage of these speakers?**
A: These speakers are rated at 30 watts RMS, and 60 watts maximum.

**Q: What is the frequency response range?**
A: 80Hz to 20Khz.

**Q: How many ohm per speaker ?**
A: This speaker is rated at 4 ohms nominal. I measured the actual dc resistance at 4.1 ohms. I purchased two and both measured the same, so good quality control on Dayton’s part.

Perfect for small projects. Well made. Feels solid. High quality sound. It has good "mid" sound. The treble isn't what you get from a high end speaker, and neither is the bass. Need to pair it with a tweeter and software for a more full, well rounded sound. But, it is absolutely rock solid for what it is.
