98485 BD-R Optical Disc, Transparent

I got these after finding other disc branding would show through on my Avery color laser labels. Once you apply the label, it is not going to come off. I couldn’t even lift an edge of the label (I tried as a way to test it). These are plain silver on top - labels look great!

50 discs not a single coaster. Great price for excellent media. Bought a second 50, only one coaster and I am not sure that was the fault of the media. This is the best material I have bought in awhile, and at a great price.

These are shiny. Printing on the hub with an inkjet-type printer just rubs right off. The "color" is shiny, which means that there would be no white color because printers rely on the substrate being white (like paper). In addition, you will have a bit of a problem determining the side that gets written on since both sides are pretty much identical appearing.

Finally! Silver top discs. they are getting harder to find lately

These are wonderful Verbatim discs at a great price, but the description states that they are inkjet printable. They are not! It also states that they are silk screen printable, whatever that means exactly. It is a smooth surface that does not absorb ink, so you need a thermal printer or something similar. Other than the inability of printing in my Primera 400 series printer, these are great. Just don't buy if you need inkjet printing. The return process was great. I just took the 49 remaining discs to a local store and was immediately credited. Didn't even need to box the item. Amazon rocks!

These may be printable disks, but not on an ink jet printer. They burn and perform well, but are not printable. I guess I assumed that if they were silk-screen printable, they would work on an ink jet. Wrong., By the way, all of the reviews for these disks appear to be for a matte white printable surface. The description and reviews are at best misleading.

The webpage said you could print on these discs with an inkjet printer. That is not true. I have a Canon Pro-100 printer that prints on printable discs, but it would not print to these. Returned these and got regular white inkjet printable discs.
