Chamberlain myQ Smart Outdoor Wired Camera

This camera is an outstanding value! I recently installed the MyQ Wired Smart Outdoor Security Camera, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. From the moment I unboxed it, everything felt premium and thoughtfully designed. Setup was incredibly straightforward—plug it in with the generous 25-foot power cord, connect via the intuitive myQ app, and you’re up and running in minutes. The fully adjustable mount with 360° swivel and 130° wide-angle lens gives me complete coverage of my backyard without any blind spots. The video quality is sharp and clear during the day but what really impressed me is the full-color night vision. It delivers crystal-clear footage even in complete darkness, making me feel truly secure 24/7. The motion detection is smart and reliable, with quick notifications sent straight to my phone. The two-way audio lets me communicate with visitors or deter unwanted activity instantly, which has already come in handy more than once. One of my favorite features is how seamlessly it integrates with my existing myQ garage system. It even works proactively by automatically locking doors and closing the garage when it detects people during scheduled times—talk about peace of mind! The camera is built tough too, handling rain, wind, and extreme temperatures like a champ (from -4°F to 122°F with no issues). The myQ app is user-friendly, with easy live streaming, recording options, and customizable alerts. Excellent camera

It is a nice camera with excellent picture. I took it to work, and across the street to my neighbor's to try to connect it to their 5 mhz networks. I could not. I took it back home and added a 2.4 to my router but no go. I have a Mesh 2.4 network but no go there either. I had a small travel router that I use. I added that to my switch, got a signal, and the camera connected to the travel router's 2.4 network. I have two other cameras where I had to do that. I do have the keypad and it connected fine to my Mesh network. So did two other cameras. It seems the newer cameras are finicky. However, I got them connected, they work, I have access on my app and it is not an issue for me to use a subnet. Excellent resolution, good night vision. I would buy it again; in fact, I will.

Very simple to install and very simple to use

The camera app is limited. The cameras are very accurate on telling the difference between people and animals, for alerts. The picture quality is great too! The cameras can't be too far away from the router, or they go offline all the time. It seems like 50 feet is the limit. But for as great as the camera is, the mounting bracket is horrible. It has to be on a totally smooth surface, or the mount won't turn onto the camera bracket. And the camera pretty much has to face, straight on to what you want to view. There's almost no tilting in any direction. I'm so disappointed about that. I bought 4 cameras and finally gave up on the mounting with screws and just used outdoor double sided heavy duty mounting tape. Otherwise the screw pulled the mount in too far and the camera wouldn't attach to it.
