So I bought a cheap watch for about thirty dollars on amazon.For my thirteen year old teenage son, and it was immediately way too big.Even on the tightest setting, it was falling off his wrist, so he was disappointed.He couldn't wear it right away.I ordered this and dad was able to remove the link's successfully and resize the watch.But he did say it was a pain i* t** a**. He said it's also because the watch itself is just very cheap, and that didn't make the process any easier.But I don't wanna buy the kid a super expensive watch just yet. So if you're looking for a cheap link removal kit for a cheap watch, then this would probably work. My husband did say he was messing with the watch for well over an hour. But he had also not done anything like that in years and you're working with items that are extremely tiny. So be sure to do it in a clean well lit area.

Worked well to remove pins to make watch band smaller with xtra parts for next time

Worked really well for removing links from a watch. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it but still way better than making a trip to a jeweler and having to pay for them to remove it.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. All the little heads that went on the screw part snapped. Nothing holds the watch in place firmly just your fingers so if the watch moves at all, the tiny pin hole placement may not line up right. When I was on the last attempt to get a pin out, I realized the metal was bending on the last whatever its called... pinhead? The thing that pushes the pin out of the link. Anyway, once its bent, if you keep tightening the screw it will snap easily like what happened to me, even though i was dead on center of the pins after I realized with the first broken head. I had the magnifyingg glass out to make sure. And once bent, it wont work. I didnt even remove one watch pin. I tried a different pin after the second snapped head on one. Yeah. Nothing worked. Not even worth the postage to send this kit back. These are so weak.

This little kit is really useful! I needed to resize a watch band and was able to remove the links myself without taking it to a shop. The tools are simple to use and the kit has everything I needed for the adjustment. Definitely handy to have at home, especially if you own multiple watches.
