Pleased with the performance
Have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and durability. I’ve flattened several slabs with no issue to date.

Good quality face mill for router sled
Purchased this to use in a dewalt router on a router sled to flatten some ash and walnut slabs, does the job and saves alot of time compared to the 1" facing mill I was using.

works as it should - I wish I had bought two.
This item worked with my old ryobi 1 3/4 HP router for my diy router sled. Went from chainsaw cut slab to beautiful live edge workpiece. Highly recommend. I wonder how long it will stay sharp... hmm.

Did the job
Worked great. This was my first time using a router and I was leveling a cherry cutting board and it leveled true. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product but it did the job.

This is an intimidating large bit.
This is an intimidating large bit, but seems well made, hopefully will last a while - reason for 1 star taken away is that the cutting blades might be a little thin/prone to chipping due to how far they project beyond the face of the bit which will destroy a flattening surface quickly. Time will tell, will update if things go better or worse than expected.

It works great for beginning router users

Quality control issues
This bit stayed sharp much longer than I expected, and it’s still going. I’ve flattened 5+ boards with it so far. Had to purchase a second one after having a router malfunction with the original. The second bit I purchased was significantly duller, and tore up the first project I used it on with my flattening jig. 5 stars -> 3 stars
