This design change means no previous faceplates will work at all as this master is a complete redesign.When buying this one, this faceplate does not have a modem socket (you need the Mk3 VDSL plate which is designed for this). This master can only be used as a phone socket as the plate only has one connection. I made this mistake and had to buy another whole unit with the two socket faceplate and you can't buy these on their own (well I couldn't find one).The faceplate is screwless which sounds like a great idea, but it's not. If you have wiring that pushes out too far the plate won't lock into place and then won't make an ideal connection to the test socket. Also it is easy to knock off. Toolless access to remove the plate and is great to make the electrical connection to the IDC sockets (no punch down tool is required for this installation).
