I sanded-down the base of the contact clip, mixed the epoxy, applied it to both the clip and the window, and put the clip on the window. It held securely. Since it was about 60 degrees outside, I used a hair dryer to apply direct heat for about 30 minutes to dry the epoxy. I then let the vehicle sit for about 2 hours to fully set-up before connecting the electrical cable to the clip. After doing so, the clip/cable were both solidly in place. I ran a test the next morning to ensure the defroster worked, and BINBGO! The defroster works just as well as it did the day it was new! Unfortunately, no the tab bonding kit does not come with tabs. There are many different types of rear window defroster tabs so it would be difficult to know which tabs fit your vehicle. We provide several types that fit the majority of cars, trucks and vans. There are typically two metal tabs on the rear window defroster one on each side of the rear window. The best way to choose is to take a look at the undamaged tab on the rear window defroster and take a cell phone picture of it. Then match the image with the Frost Fighter replacement tabs. To see the replacement tabs available type, "Frost Fighter Defroster Tabs" in the search bar and this will show the Frost Fighter tabs available. If the ambient temperature of your space is cold, the tab may not set in place after 10 minutes. If this is the case, you can warm the area with a space heater first, or tape the tab in place with something very gentle, not duct tape and heat the repair. If you use tape, very gently remove it taking care not to damage your defroster. Heat cure at about 110 - 130 degrees F for about 30 minutes with a hair dryer, heat lamp or other heat source. Make certain it is not too hot or you can crack your glass, especially if it is cold outside. Turning on the defroster after it is attached will further cure the epoxy.
