Great for a specific use case of hearing around you. Hits most of the use cases with caveats.
I'll list the great and things you should be aware of as not so great. Great: Can wear all day and you can still hear around you. Works well with TEAMS and Zoom so when you mute or un mute it syncs with the app. I like it since I can wear it and listen to someone around me as long as the volume is not too loud on the SHOKZ. Charging is super fast as maybe under hour? Or under 30 minutes? it seemed fast and lasts for several days if you're not talking that much. Even with moderate use I think it can run a week. I also use the dongle so I can have it connected to both a phone and laptop at the same time. Not so Great: No audio command support like I had on my previous in-ear headset like "answer" to answer a call. Or call commands to call someone. The volume seems to not be very fine tuned as you can quickly go to full volume or low volume. Wish there were more in-betweens. I like the mic but you have to remember to pull the mic down. I usually put it up when I'm not talking to not look like a geek walking around with a microphone. One thing I thought wasn't great but could be a bluetooth and not this product is that if you have some app on your phone running and you don't go back to the home page, the connection sticks with the phone and not the dongle on your laptop. Small inconvenience but workaround is just hit home on your phone. Just something to know that happens.

Amazing for Call Center work
I work at a call center and was using my SHOKZ Open Runs headphones as my headset. They are so light weight I forgot I’m wearing them and helped when working by reducing headaches. However, with the Open Runs my agents and customers were able to hear EVERYTHING going on around me clear as day. So I looked up to see if SHOKZ had an actual communication set. I looked it up and found these. They are just as lightweight and comfortable as the Open Runs. They fit over my ears well and I forgot I’m wearing them sometimes. I got the one with the C-Dongle. When I step outside of the range of the dongle it disconnects and as soon as I’m back in range it automatically reconnects. Way better than the Bluetooth I was using. The sound is great. Pretty crystal clear. The buttons on the side turns the volume up and down easily. The mic focuses on your voice. I have asked my agents and they all said the background noise is more mute now compared to when I was using the Open Runs. They hear me much more clearly. The mute button I was excited about because I didn’t have that before. So much nicer than having to manually mute my mic. They hold a good charge. I got them at 5am with an overnight ship over a month ago. My husband plugged them in when they arrived and I took them to work at 7am. Lasted me all day on just that little charge. Haven’t had any issues since getting them with battery power. They last my whole 8 hour shift and then some. They do look a little big, especially with the mic (which was one thing I was worried about) but once it’s on your forgot it’s there. The range I’ve found is I think about 200ft or so before it disconnnects but definitely depends on if there are walls or anything in the way. My office has an open concept with lowered cubicles instead of high walls and I can walk all along the floor and stay connected, but at home, if I go into a certain room or down the hall the connection gets choppy or disconnects. (But with the dongle is reconnects instantly). Overall, I really love this headset for what I do. I have to wear these 40+ hours a week and I will never wear any other headset after getting these! They are pricey but definitely worth the money.

Comfort
These headphones are amazing no rar fatigue what's so ever the sound quality is actually decent I thought they were gonna be bad but they turned out to be way better than I thought. It's definitely great in the office. They are a bit pricey but all in all I'd say it's worth every penny. They fit beautifully on my head and it does take a bit to get used but overall they are comfortable. They are compatible with the Ooma office phones if that's what is used in your office. That's are the easiest headphones to pair and you an have 2 devices connected at once.

Pretty Good Headset for Work
This is a great headset to use for digital phones (such as phones through your computer). My company's phone system is through Zoom. I also use this headset for web meetings, online training courses, webinars, and phone calls. I use this headset heavily and for multiple hours each work day. . . sometimes for a full 8+ hours. Pros: Charges very fast Battery life is good and lasts for 8+ hours of use Lightweight on the head (forget it's on) Open ear design means I don't have to take my headset off when not using it. I leave it on all day. Sound is pretty good for calls and web meetings, etc. Others have verified the sounds is good on their end, too. Noise cancelling works pretty well. Cons: Sometimes my temples get sore just from the headset sitting there over long periods of time (The headset gently 'squeezes' your head to stay on) The audio is good. . . but not as good as my personal AfterShokz headset that I use for running / working out even though it was more expensive. Sometimes the audio volume level seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes when I turn on the headset, the volume on my phone is way too low or way too high and I seem to have to adjust the volume pretty frequently. I have not yet used this headset via bluetooth with my computer of phone. It does have multi-pairing functionality, though. I use this headset with the USB-C dongle plugged into my computer. In general, I do like the headset especially because I don't like traditional headsets that go on top of your head. It works well, pretty consistently (plug and play), and lasts a long time. It is lightweight on the head so I can wear it all day.

Wonder
“Excellent headset. It is very comfortable even after several hours of use and the sound quality is very good. The microphone works great for calls and meetings, and the noise cancellation helps a lot. The battery lasts a long time and the connection is fast and stable. Ideal for working and answering calls throughout the day. Very satisfied with the purchase, I recommend it 100%.”

Great idea, deeply unreliable execution
I bought the SHOKZ OpenComm2 UC because I wanted an open-ear headset I could wear all day without having earbuds jammed into my ears. In theory, the design is exactly what I wanted. In practice, this headset created more stress than it solved. The biggest problem: the mute button on the boom mic does not work reliably with Microsoft Teams. I had multiple instances where Teams would sporadically unmute, including one meeting with about 30 people where I ended up hot mic’d. For a product clearly aimed at work calls, that is completely unacceptable. A headset for professional meetings has one sacred job: do not betray me in front of everyone. The multi-device connection is also wildly unreliable. It would connect to my phone, then apparently flip a coin on whether audio would actually come through the headset. I went through the troubleshooting guides repeatedly, and nothing fixed it. Multiple times a day I had to power the headset off, forget the Bluetooth device, turn phone Bluetooth off and back on, put the headset back into pairing mode, reconnect, and then maybe it would work. Sometimes pressing the volume button would magically make the audio “click in,” but then a few hours later I’d be back in the same loop. The computer connection was more reliable, probably because of the USB-C dongle. But the moment I tried to use the advertised second-device functionality, it became hit or miss. I was constantly telling people, “Sorry, hang on, my headphones aren’t working,” then scrambling to reconnect, switching to speakerphone, or just putting the phone up to my ear like the expensive headset on my head was a decorative accessory. They simply do not function as advertised. Worse, they make you feel like you can’t trust your own equipment during the workday. That’s not a minor annoyance. That’s stress, anxiety, and wasted time from a product that is supposed to make communication easier. Do yourself a favor and buy AirPods or another reliable headset. Yes, you lose the open-ear bone conduction design, which is unfortunate because that was the whole reason I wanted these. But reliability matters more. We already have enough stress at work. Your headset should not be adding to it.

Open Comm 2
Great for voice calls, anything spoken word like podcast's etc...Execllent noise canceling microphone so that your voice is heard clearly with minimal background noise. Comforatble to wear and will stay on your head unlike the Open Meet. Lightweight. Nothing over your ears or in your ears. No more ear fatigue. Battery last all day. Great for working in a call center environment or for working from home if you need a good comfortable 8 hour a day headset then the Shokz OpenComm2 is your solid choice. Better than Open Meet in my opinion when it comes to comfort and these not slipping off of your head. I did not buy these to use for music I have multiple sets of audiophile quality headphones and in ear monitors for music listening. I did not expect these to sound good with music at all but was a little surprised when I did test them with music and they weren't as bad as I thought they would be. I have to say I am reall impressed by the call quality and the fact that they are so light weight ou hardly notice them. The Open Comm 2 has become my go to headset at my home office for teams meetings, zoom meetings, making or taking calls the Open Comm are hard to beat. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for as they say. If you are a truck driver, work from home or work in a call center you should take a look at the Open Comm 2.

Headset performs as expected (eventually), but my customer service experience was poor.
I purchased this headset for two reasons: I wanted something that I could use without taking out my hearing aids, and to have better hands-free conversations while driving--good mic and audio that didn't prevent me from hearing ambient sounds. I thought this looked like a better option than the BlueParrot-type (which work fantastically--but the over-ear options with my hearing aids are very bulky). Giving three stars because I typically give four if the product performs as-expected, five if it exceeds expectations. I may bump a star up or off if I have positive, neutral, or negative experiences with customer service. That said, four stars for the product, minus one for customer service. Review on the product: As advertised, and based on other reviews, the mic option makes this better for my needs than the OpenRun series. Noise cancelling is great. I wouldn't use it to record a podcast, but it does the job. The bone conducting feature, essential to keep my ears open, works very well if you are not expecting to get a full audio experience. Not a big deal for me, because I have my CarPlay set to play audio through my truck speakers, but phone conversations default to my OpenComm2 headset. This doesn't work 100% of the time, but it's easy to switch from CarPlay to my headset. Battery life is good, and I like the upgraded version's ability to charge with a USB-C charger rather than the previous version's proprietary magnetic charger. The buttons are easy to find, even with light gloves on. The range is good, and I've worn it in light rain so can speak to it being water resistant. I can wear it with my behind the ear hearing aids, though wearing both with a pair of glasses/sunglasses (three things hooked on my ears) isn't comfortable for more than a few minutes. Review on customer service (Shokz, not Amazon): I initially ordered the set that I'm reviewing, with the USB-C dongle in case I wanted to use this with my computer without having to set up Bluetooth. One of the features that I was expecting was voice commands (Siri). The instructions and Shokz website state to press and hold the multi-function button for 2-3 seconds to activate this feature. Couldn't get it to work. Read further instructions that suggested deleting the pairing from my phone, doing a hard reset of the headset, updating headset firmware (which you can't do because this headset is not supported by the Shokz app so there are no ways to adjust the factory settings), restarting my phone... typical "who knows if this will work, but when it doubt, hard reset" instructions. Still wouldn't work. The button worked for everything else (pause/play and advance/rewind music, accept/end calls), just not voice commands. Through all of this, customer service correspondence by email was frustrating. I'd get the same instructions emailed to me, and then finally they stopped responding so I decided to return the set to Amazon and re-order a different one. I had originally purchased the set with the USB-C dongle for $160, but now (three weeks later) that was the price of the set without the dongle. The set with the dongle was now $200. Customer service wouldn't help me with getting a true replacement, so I ordered the set without the dongle. It arrived in two days (as I said, Amazon was great and reliable). I set it up and had the same problem so I decided for the customer service live chat option. The agent was polite, but when her suggestions didn't work, her exact quote was "Siri functionality is not a Shokz priority for this line. Your experience will be shared, and if a solution is found in time we will reach out to you." Here's the good part, and advice if you decide to purchase this headset and want voice command functionality. While I was waiting for her to troubleshoot my problem, I decided to try using the mic's mute button instead of the multi-function button, and it worked!! Just be careful that you don't have it on mute (single-tap) before activating Siri or it won't hear you and you'll wonder if it's not working. My biggest gripe is that I have not even been offered a complimentary USB-C dongle or anything else for my issues and the delays. Customer service offered me a % off a future purchase, which ended up being worse than the Black Friday offer for anyone to use, but why would I order another Shokz item when the one I had didn't work properly?

astounding. read on...
I have bluetooth DJ over ear headphones, apple airpod pro 2, I have had a million ear pieces for the phone including Jawbone, plantronix - the whole rainbow. NOTHING comes close to these mighty mites. They weigh next to nothing - I had them on over five hours - even wore them to the supermarket because I forgot they were there. I used them with the TV running and using sotto voce - they dictated to type flawlessly. They are open ear so you can hear everything around you - but your ears don't itch! They work for hours on a single charge. The sound is just 'there' it isnt coming in through your ears. Best bar none. my go to headphone of choice PLUS = when you use it you look like a rock star! The worst thing is the rubber flap for the charging port. And that works fine - it might get snapped off if I am careless or it wears out ina couple years. Thats it. That is my complaint. And even so - I recommend these headphones. Not a vine reviewer - I paid good money for these. And it was worth it. I used amazon for easy returns if I didnt like them. I like them. You can even use the headset to tell siri to call someone and hang up from the headset. Music sounds good on them - and unlike anything else I have. ever used - when they play sound - it is clear in your head - and nobody else hears anything! If you are reading this you are interested. Amazon lets you return them - just tet them. You won't be disappointed.

Problemet är verifierat av flertal användare: Multiple users have reported this exact issue with the OpenComm2: an initial ~0.5s audio glitch/scraping or delay when sound starts playing. The problem persists even with the Loop110 dongle, which should ensure a stable connection. OpenComm2 seems to drop or delay A2DP activation more aggressively than OpenComm1, likely due to: -Updated cVc (Clear Voice Capture) behavior. -More aggressive power-saving/sleep logic in firmware. Kan därför inte rekommendera detta headset. Det är defekt tills Shokz släpper en ny firmware som hanterar detta. Trist för annars är det ett klockrent headset - bortsätt från att den nya mikrofonen konstant går emot kinden...
