I'm very familiar with these drives I own 6(all different storage size and brands)
This ssd is great for the price. The kids and I have so much fun playing systems from the PS2 Wii and wii u. The gaming capabilities depends on your computer I use it with my desktop pc which has a i5 13th gen, and a rtx 3060 so for that system it runs all systems very well at higher resolutions. I also use it with my rog ally z1 (non extreme) and it performed really well no issues. I tested most systems from N64 ps1,2,3 Nintendo Wii, Wii u and Nintendo switch I had no issues at all it's literally plug it in go to the hard drive files boot one of the front ends and your good. You may need to allow controller use for the menu as it's set for mouse but other than that every system found my wireless 8bitdo controller and my Xbox series controller. You can also get Wii motion controllers to play the Wii motion games as I tested.
