Stop worrying about the humidity and temperature so much. I kept it about 60% (as read by the machine), set the temp to 101, and kept it in a closet in the garage with no air draft or major temperature fluctuations. Take the eggs off the rollers about a 2-3 days prior to hatch, and wait. I did not use the Styrofoam case as the temperature outside and humidity level in Louisiana was high enough. I would imagine in the winter or inside of the house, you would need to use the Styrofoam. I cannot speak for the automatic duck, chicken, etc modes. I set it to constant temperature and waited. I would recommend this incubator to anyone that isn't hatching commercially. Instructions are terrible but it is a very simple concept.
