Review: This is nice little cutter for opening packages. This is not a heavy duty box cutter, but works great for light work. There is some confusion about the lock on the back. The lock doesn't not lock the blade from extending nor retracting. The lock keeps the shell from coming apart. Unlock and you can open the shell and flip or replace the blade. If you want a cutter that doesn't automatically retract the blade look for the orange colored model.

This is nice little cutter for opening packages. This is not a heavy duty box cutter, but works great for light work. There is some confusion about the lock on the back. Love love these box cutters. I have ordered multiple times. They make opening and breaking down boxes very easy. I also use them to open packages that are in plastic. Great value for your money. They are also safe to use.
