It mixed quickly and effortlessly—no clumps at all. Flavor: The chocolate flavor came through fine. I was a bit apprehensive that it would taste like eggs and I'm happy to report that it does not have any egg flavor whatsoever. However, it does taste very salty to me. After checking the nutrition label for sodium, I discovered why: it has 340mg of sodium per serving. Store bought almond milk tends to be high in sodium as well—most store brands contain around 170mg per serving. So, prepared as directed (the package explicitly suggests mixing it with unsweetened almond milk), this drink contains as much sodium as 3 servings of Lay's potato chips... In smoothies, it might be unnoticeable but it is unmistakably salty prepared as a protein drink. So, if you plan on consuming it as just liquid+powder, I would recommend using a liquid lower in sodium and/or higher in sugar than store bought unsweetened almond milk. Side note: I can think of two reasons some people might think the higher sodium count is a positive: (1) In terms of nutrition, if you'll use this as a post-workout supplement, the additional electrolytes might be a positive for you.
