The thing is, without this funnel, you cannot use the portafilter to grind the coffee beans into, so it is an essential item for your machine. Fits nicely into the storage slot on the side of the machine if that is where you wish to keep it. Personally, I attach mine to the portafilter after cleaning, and pop them into place under the grinder ready for the next use - keeps the portafilter stored out of the way!! This replacement is very well made using sturdy material which makes you confident that it is not going to break anytime soon. Being a solid, matt black colour, it also looks smarter than the smokey brown-ish transparent plastic that the original is made of. So much better overall. No idea why the designers ever came up with this funnel for such a lovely machine. It arrived quickly, and was well packaged in a box. Very good service from the Seller. Don't bother with the official one. *by M***S on 26 January 2025* I've had 2 of the original funnels, the one that came with the machine and and replacement from the Ninja website, now I doubt I will ever need a replacement. This funnel snaps on to the portafilter excellently, there's no concern about it coming off and spilling ground (something I was constantly worried about with Ninja's. The plastic is much thicker and studier and the machine works perfectly with it. Knowing how good this is now even if my original 2 weren't broken I would prefer this.
