I read a multitude of reviews when deciding on flatware and returned a couple of sets from other manufacturers. This set is gorgeous. The gold is warm and bright but not brassy. The weight is good and it washes well, either but hand or in the dishwasher. I love the shape of the handles and the lightly hammered texture. Highly recommend.

These are well made and pretty, but they are also very big, heavy, and the spoons are shallow. I find smaller flatware to be more comfortable to handle, and I prefer deeper spoons for my soup and ice cream eating occasions.I returned them because of these reasons.
