CAT Men's Work Boots

I purchased these boots back in 2021 when I started tiling, I initially got them as work boots. Since then I have worn them almost every day, I’ve taken them on some pretty serious hikes and on all sorts of adventures, and abused them daily on construction sites. And they have taken it all so well!! I’ll include a picture of how they look today after 4 years of daily use. They are definitely getting worn and I’m definitely going to order a new pair at some point. But the soles are still in decent shape and ohhhh they are comfy!! They’ve definitely shaped to my foot and I love it. I keep them permanently loose-laced and they slip on and off great. That’s just personal preference. I am super super happy with these boots and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone. Update: these boots probably could have lasted me another 6 months at least but I decided to get a new pair rather than buy new insoles for the old ones. I am so so happy with them! I’ll include pics of the new ones next to the old. Note the old ones were brown, new ones are black. The new boots feel very comfy and I’m excited to break them in. I happily expect to wear these boots daily for the next 4-5 years!

About a month ago I got the Cat Men's Waterproof Work Boots, and they are impressive. These are my thoughts: 1. WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT? - These boots are well-made, sturdy, and designed to last. The materials feel and are premium as expected from Caterpillar. The design and colors are super nice, too, as these boots look good on and off the job site. 2. HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT PERFORM? - They are completely waterproof and keep my feet dry. Compared to what I had, some boots from Walmart with steel toe, these boots provide great support, and the comfort level is through the roof. They are really lightweight, making long days in them just fly-by. Cleaning is easy, just wipe them with the wet cloth and that's it. 3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE? - It is extremely easy to put them on. Slip them on, lace them up, and you're good to go. 4. IS THE PRODUCT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY? - How much you value your feet? I paid $70.00 - if they last a year, and I wear them every day, that's $0.19 per day. If they last longer, do the math. And these boots can go a long mile. Considering the quality, performance, and how good they look, these boots are worth every penny. 5. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU? - Absolutely! If you are like me and looking for a reliable, comfortable, and stylish work boot from a well established brand, the Cat Footwear Men's Threshold is a great choice.

disclaimer: I don not do jobs on construction sites and I had cat boots before. Overall they feel massive and solid. Guess there is no way around for that electricity protection. The very next day tried in a half snowy slippery weather. I had to walk a lot over wet\snowy wood and marble\stone pavements and it didn't feel slippery at all for me. My only concern is that if you use all the hooks for shoe ties the front part part of the ankle would feel a bit stiff. I would say it's bit hard to get down on the knee to pick something from the floor. But then again just use less hooks and it should be fine.

Normally, I buy two pair of boots late in the fall after I'm done with most of my outside screwing around. What can I say? I got old. I don't do as much outdoor outdoors in the winter? I wear these pretty much every day and I wore two pairs of them out before the end of one summer season. So I got three of them this time. Three pairs of boots, at this price for one full year of use is very reasonable. They're comfortable, even as they start to break down, easy to keep clean and look pretty good.

Very well fitting boots, comfortable, though I would recommend an aftermarket sole. The traction is amazing on concrete, dirt, and corrugated metal, but in a restaurant with wet tile floors, it is a death trap. This boot works great for outdoor and industrial settings but in a food service job I would steer FAR away from it. Still extremely comfortable and durable.

Great boots! I’m a UPS driver and these are great for work. Super value when on sale for around $50. Bought 3 pairs! Will say that one of the lower eyelets popped out after a couple weeks of wear, don’t affect the use much.

These CAT work boots exceeded my expectations. They are extremely durable and built with high-quality materials that can handle tough work conditions. At the same time, they are very comfortable—even after wearing them all day, my feet don’t feel tired.

Comfortable, no break- in required, pretty durable. Use them for logging and they last about 4 to 5 months then I buy a new pair. I'm ordering the 4th pair now. I put waterproofing on them when I 1st receive then, and they stay surprisingly dry. I do put them over the heater nightly to dry thoroughly in & out.
