Displaying surprising depth and intelligence in its appropriation of classical myths and gods, the show gradually introduces a bevy of devotional gals who support the titular Campione Kusanagi Godo in his efforts to slay gods. Fans of Fate/Stay Night will lap up the fantastical action sequences here (which look fantastic on Blu-Ray) whilst main female lead Erica is one of the best Tsunderes out there. Oh, and for those that stick with it to the second disk, you'll be treated to a very saliva-tastic 'love' scene - because y'now, the only way Godo can win is by snogging these girls like his life depends on it. During the trip however Godo is caught up in a battle between an Italian mage/swordswoman and the rogue Persian god of war/victory. Suddenly though the hidden power within the tablet and a magical kiss Godo's whole world is turned on it's head when he becomes a Campione or God slayer.
