I have discovered that this table’s plastic top and the legs are thicker than most card tables. The legs are unlike many tables that have legs where the bottom portion pulls out from the top portion and lock with a pin. The bottom portion of the legs in this table are designed as a separate piece that needs to be inserted and they lock into the upper portion with a pin. There’s no change in diameter between the upper and lower legs pieces so it’s impossible for the legs to break and collapse into one another accidentally. This is ideal for the anyone that might have a larger person that might lean in the table or a rowdier group of gamers. The table doesn’t shake or shimmy when it’s upright either. The cup holders have are recessed into the table containing all the condensation or dips from drinks. The game mat has a thick rubber backing so that it stays put and it adds some cushioning and sound barrier from the tiles clanking on the tabletop. The top of the mat is silky smooth. I do like that the mat is removable so that the table doesn’t have to be designated only for mahjong. I can use it for other gaming or using as an additional dining table when we have parties.

I like the foldable mahjong table and the rubber pad . It just came on time before the holidays . … so there’s another entertainment during the family gathering . The rubber red pad is very attractive ; it matches my Chinese sala set and decors .

Perfect mahjong table for small places, able fold it after the games. Very easy to fold and seat on the side after playing. Had so much fun playing mahjong with my friends and family.
