Medela supplemental Nursing System (SNS)

I would recommend this to any breastfeeding mum struggling with low supply. Baby gets the top up but it helps increase milk at the same time. Life saver in the early days especially.

Purchased two Medela Supplemental Feeding Tubes (one of them from Amazon, the other at a pharmacy). Within two weeks from purchase both connectors developed cracks and started leaking during use. When approaching medela I was promptly told the system could be temporarily used without the connector, along with attached instructions on how to do it - making me think this is reoccurring issue with them.

The screw in valve became misshapen and unable to screw in after sterilising it in the Medela microwave bag, which it literally says to do in order to clean it. It warped the piece and now the whole thing is unusable. It's a great product for a very short time until it breaks. A replacement would be welcome but a lot term fix for this QC issue needs to be addressed, looking at other reviews too

El flujo es demasiafo rápido y la única forma de regularlo es clampanfo la llave, que no es fácil con una mano y teniendo que clampar varias veces para que el bebé no se atragante. Creo que el sistema sería más fácil con un regulador de flujo tipo los de suero ( con ruedita). Este producto no vale lo que cuesta, se paga la marca!
