Atari VCS 800 Onyx – All In

The Atari VCS is a great choice for a mini PC. It is a beautiful machine that is packed with features. You can easily add an NVMe SATA SSD to it, which makes it even more versatile. LOVE the "Recharged" series on this system...of course the old joystick is an absolute joy. I stick to the classics that I grew up playing from my childhood, and I'm quite pleased with access to 2600, 5200, 7800, and arcade games- though the "Recharged" series are the absolute best and tend to stick to them.

At no fault of the seller. The bios on the Atari vcs 800 is locked and the password for it is unknown. Originally, you can install a custom operating system. My plan was to install batocera, which is essentially an emulation OS. The bios is locked and Atari will not give out the password for it. The base is that is comes installed with, has a very limited number of free games; atari games. The rest you will have to purchase. This system, back when it was released, was a power house for emulation. If you were to get this, do not connect to the internet and update. The password, I believe in 2021, was well known and you could access the bios. It’s locked now. 0 stars to Atari
