I have used one for a few months and have bought my own just now. I found that Headaterm 2 is quite effective at hindering migraines if I can use it at the very early symptoms' stage. It is also very helpful when a migraine attack has progressed to a stronger stage and I need to take triptans as SOS treatment - Headaterm 2 helps the medication act a lot faster than it normally would. I have not yet used it as a preventive treatment because my daily schedule is complicated and seldom does it allow me to have the opportunity to relax and lay down for a full hour to benefit fully from the treatment. However, as Headaterm 2 is a really light device and quite comfortable to use, I am going to try to start using on a daily basis, even if I cannot complete the one-hour session entirely lying down, because, as was suggested by my neurologist, it may make a difference. The only limitation I have found is that the battery does not seem to last long. I tend to use the device at level 4 or 5 and the battery only lasts for three (one-hour) sessions. Since I am not always working at my computer station, it is a challenge to have the device charged whenever it is needed.
