If they were only a little smaller, they would have had more uses. I came across this item and it was exactly what I thought I needed. The catch was that the other brand was charging the same for the medium as KeyUnity charged for a small. It was my (false) assumption that KeyUnity is a better brand and I was paying more for quality. It appears I was simply paying more. These rings were incredibly difficult to open and even harder to close. Normally, I would consider this an advantage. In this case, it appears to be the result of poorly shaped rings. They do not sit flush when closed and they get stuck open. The sound of them closing is less of a click and more of a grind. With use, they do eventually become flat with a gap where they close. They are not made to handle the weight of a titanium blade, as shown in the pictures. I learned the hard way not to stick anything that could easily slide out of the gap on these rings. Tightening them to fix the gap worked for about a day and then the ring snapped altogether. I will be sticking with the other brand.
