I know it is a Southern grass but I wanted to give it a shot anyway (we live in Indiana and the summers here have been crazy hot the last few years). I purchased it because of it's drought tolerance and resilience in high traffic areas as we have a section in our front yard that is very, very difficult to get coverage. I mixed it with another seed (shade and sun mix also from Pennington) and covered it with straw. We watered it thoroughly every day and within about two weeks, we saw it starting to come up. We'll see how well it does in the long-term since I planted it in a section of the country that's not recommended but so far, it's been a great seed!!
