It produces pulse output that the flow meter uses once it is calibrated to the sensor output.

How do you order the npt version of this flow meter i see mentioned in the comments?

I also saw an NPT version mentioned in the comments, but was not able to locate such a version anywhere. I bought BSPP to NPT adapters (which cost more than this flow sensor did).
