My grandson loved it as a holiday present. But the kid makes gift giving easy. If asked he produced a list of things and links to easy buying so size and style are perfect!

Excellent jacket as expected
Read lots of reviews on this jacket and comparisons to other jackets. This is one of the only jackets in its category to come with no hood. I’m in San Diego and it doesn’t rain much so i prefer no hood. I think it looks better without one. This is my first arc product and im satisfied. It feels like it’s made well and performs well. Just the right amount of down-like filling to keep you warm during grocery trips or short walks and hikes in 40-60 deg weather. I like that the sides allow more ventilation. The fit is excellent. Slim but not overly. I could wear my down vest under this. I’m a somewhat athletic build and the M fits well at 159lbs. I like the elastic cuffs. It’s just the right amount.

I know they are trendy but I really do like Arc'teryx products. The Atom is my mid-weight choice for jackets and it does a great job.
