Just have to be patient and careful. Not for the impatient. Have a card or back of knife handy to smooth down any letters that stay stuck on the sheet when placing on the wall. Keep smoothing them over and over until they stick to the wall. May take a few tries until they stick. That goes for the backing as well as the placement on the wall. I purchased a separate sheet with flowers and birds separately at Home Depot and combined them to enhance and match with the blue flower curtains I bought at Target. Had fun putting these up.
