This took about 4 or 5 layers of double-sided tape. BUT it now is stuck on so good I can lift helmet just holding the light. It is a very strong magnet when it can contact properly... and had a friend tail me to see light... he said it only came on bright red when I pulled up sharply - so that is a good thing - no 'false alarms'. Great safety product. Still need to get a static red light though.
